Welcome to NW Gun Safety

NW Gun Safety is USCCA Certified !

I have been a USCCA  certified instructor for 4 years.  I received my instructor training from Quantum Force Consulting, LLC.  This class was well taught by Scott Hefren, owner and lead instructor. What this training brings to NW Gun Safety is more than a nationally recognized certification, it is a fully evolved curriculum that effectively covers all aspects of gun ownership.

Our Mission

Picture
Northwest Gun Safety was created out of a desire to educate and train people who  either already own guns or are thinking about getting guns.  Basic firearms safety and the responsibility that goes along with it are essential to owning any firearm.   Our mission is to educate shooters or anyone who lives with shooters how to be a responsibly armed American.

Safety does not happen by accident.

Teaching the same stuff - just doing it different.

Please check out the whole web site. There is a lot of good information about what NW Gun Safety offers and how we approach firearms safety and the entire concept of guns, shooting and self defense.  Our approach is not new and is grounded in firearms best practices that you will find in any training program, from the military to civilian. What makes NWGS unique is the whole person approach to owning a firearm. There are many reasons responsible Americans own a gun, from hunting and sport shooting, competitive shooting sports to home defense and/or self defense. So as we engage firearms safety we also engage what it means, in regard to responsibility, liability and personal safety.

We aspire to encourage much more than just safe shooting. We hope to engage you at a level that instills safe practices, makes you think about the why and the how. We want to educate and expand your knowledge and at the same time help each other become better people...and of course a better shot.
